Want to save on your produce for your family? Check out a 99 cent store. They sell certified produce for cheaper than grocery stores. Want the best selection? Go on Monday mornings. You may have to wait in line, but you'll get a better selection as they get overstocks from growers over the weekend. Click here to see store locations within 25 miles of Laguna Beach.

School/Activity Organization
At the beginning of each school year, create a folder for each of your children that includes all school and activity schedules. Throughout the year, use this folder to collect pictures, rosters, report cards, etc. At the end of the year. move all of the content to filo folder that has pockets for multiple years. Get one for each child. You never know when you will want to reference a roster or look up a parent's phone number down the line.

10/5/11 Meeting Tips

You've Been Boo'd!
Spread some Halloween cheer! Start a "You've Been Boo'd" campaign in your neighborhood. Print the "You've been Boo'd" poem and a "We've been Boo'd" window sign, make a bag of treats and take the kids around the neighborhood. They get the fun of leaving the treats, knocking on the door and running away! Remember, it is supposed to be a secret! Free Child Health Screening
Take advantage of a free child health screening from 9-11 a.m. 10/14/11 at the Boys and Girls Club of Laguna Beach (Canyon location). This screening is organized and conducted by Family Support Network for families to receive a comprehensive screening to see how their pre-school child is progressing cognitively, developmentally and socially. Slow Cooker Tip
